Extension and refurbishment of the former Whitehall Police Station as the new home for the Metropolitan Police. The site is in a prominent riverside location on Victoria Embankment, affording many views of the building, including London View Management Framework river prospects. The heritage sensitive context lies close to highly graded listed buildings and the Westminster World Heritage Site.
